banner change

Post by greenough1 »

Hi Rob,
You should have the top "banner" changed from help elect Obama to something about him being president elect.

Very exciting times indeed.

Yeah I know, but that means that (a) I'd have to create a new banner and (b) I'd have to go into the admin panel and change it! :)

It's on my "to do" list.

In this case the banner was political. I'm guessing they help off set the cost of running this place.

If I was the site owner, so long as it was legit, I would run banners for who ever paid me money.

Both parties, would have been even better.

Every other forum I belong to got so out of hand with the political threads... Downright ugly most of the time.

It was refreshing to not have to deal with it here as well.

Ok, maybe I'm confused?

I could care less what political banners are run, so long as it helps pay for the site.

Political threads are a different issue. We don't need them.

We are probably all off topic, off forum purpose in this thread. Lets get back to JP1 stuff.
