Now, If I press DVD, then Source, the DVD light goes on... I would think the TV light would go on, but perhaps key copy does not work the same as the Locks.
With Channel Lock, the remote is temporarily switching device modes for you, so if the remote is in DVD mode, it's doing this...

1) switch to CBL mode
2) press the CH+ button
3) switch back to DVD mode

So when the button actually operates, the remote really is in CBL mode, hence the CBL button lights up.

With advanced codes, the remote never needs to change modes because you programmed the "key moves" (that's what they're called) in each mode. That's why you had to do it 4 or 5 times.

Success!
I just tested at home, and the TV Source has been mapped to all devices!
Thank you so much to everyone who helped!

I do have one last question....

Where do I see all of the key assignments for each device?

On the Devices Tab, I only have 2 Devices listed:

Cable: 1877 - Sci Atl - 8300HDC
DVD/VCR: 1199 - Samsung BD-P1600

But were can I find the key assignments for my Samsung LCD TV?
It's Device Code is 0060

You CANNOT see the assignments in IR. Those codes are built-in to the ROM of the remote, and are not visible to us. Only UPGRADES that are stored in the readable area are visible (as you have seen)

That said, however, the experts here have decyphered most of the inner workings of these remotes and the data you seek are available in a wonderful tool recently developed by Vicky, one of our experts here. Click on the link at the top of this page that says "Lookup Tool". It should be self-explanatory how to get your remote's info for any built-in code.

Thank you so much!
