WHERE do I make that change? (I'm guessing in IR's Raw Data page?)
After the extender is installed that location should say 03, which is the power button, we're going to change it to say 15 which is the 1 button.
KeyMap=$015.5.1.0.0 (Standard;Alternate)
Yes that change needs to be made to the extender RDF.
I just tried using Extinstall-2 in IR instead of Extinstall and it wouldn't work. Is there still a change in IR required to support Extinstall-2?
This release of IR doesn't have the capability of passing the -signature parameter that Extinstall-2 needs for the JP1.2 and JP1.3 remotes. At present you'll have to use the cmd prompt. The JP1 remotes used to have the signature starting at byte 2, the newer remotes don't. So Unclemilties extender requires a parameter to know where the address is located so that it can find the RDF.
Do you want to continue the extender testing discussion here in this thread?
...via PM?
...or do we want to ask a moderator to split this off into a new "Atlas 5-Dev PVR JP 1.2 extender" thread?
I opt for the third, since that allows others in to potentially assist. I know that I tend towards tunnelvision when working alone or in a very small group.

Just got off a ship (28 days). The first part of this thread sounds like deja vu all over again.....
I don'r recall the details, but something Rob and Binky changed fixed it all.
Suggest going back to that thread and review what they did.
