I presume that I need this protocol for the HCS08 added to protocols.ini, right?

I'm OK with that plan, and might I recommend the PIP ON-OFF button to be the "temporary-for-testing-purposes" Power button, since I have no PIP functionality/capability in ANY of my devices, and those buttons at the bottom are unused in all of my setups. For a temporary work around on the extender, we could use some other key to activate the extender, and then keymove the power function to some other key for now.
