EEPROM part # from mouser?

Post by Garret »

Does anyone have the Mouser part number for a 2k EEPROM for a 6131? I would just order from Rob, but Mouser is only about 5 minutes from my house and I just pick up via 'will call'.
thanks,

as long as we are asking for part numbers, I wouldn't mind knowing the part number for the 6 pin header. :)

Steve,

You probably won't find one for a 6 pin. All a 6 pin header is is three sections broke off a dual 20. One will thus make 6 6-pin headers and a leftover 4 pin "junk".

The one that I've used in the past is made by Atmel and the Mouser P/N is 556-AT24C16N10SI2.7, but it appears to be out of stock.

This EEPROM should do the trick... 698-CAT24WC16JI-1.8

For the 6-pin, you should get this part: 517-836-01-36, it's a 72 pin strip of breakaway header, which means you can make 12 6-pin connectors out of it.

Is the eeprom listed by Rob only for the 6131 or is ok for the 8011 & 6012 as well - Thanks

It should be ok for those remotes as well. But why aren't you buying the eeprom from Rob? Cheaper, faster, better...
