Well done Vicky, you saved me the trouble of making a video. Wasn't too difficult in the end, right?

No wasn't as bad as thought. It couldn't have been! :lol:

I hadn't realized those little black ends were going to come off to go into the 6pin connector.

I also didn't realize those black ends were just the right size to be super glued together to form a 6 pin connector. I could have just unplugged the red and blue wires and glued the 6 ends together to make my connector.

The work is really small and fine but simple.

Feel free to make a video. I am sure yours would be better.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Nice video Vicky. I'll try to come up with a good ebay search url for the connector that you can put in the description.
