Good morning everyone,

I just forget that the remote can be programed without IR.exe :-)

I've never done a Key-Move withiut IR. Is this the function which is called "Key Magic" by OFA ?

Anyway - I just learned the missing "OK" Function to the "OK" Button and this worked without problem. In the ...

If I create a device upgrade an map the button to OK there is allready a keymive created. But it does not work .. I will try to learn something to the OK Button to see if it is a general Problem with the OK Key and the related code, or maybe a problem with the device-upgrade itself. Well the OK ...

Hmm .. I just tried to create a device upgrade to add my MediaMVP Remote as a DVD Device to the 8203. It all runs fine except the "oK" button. I get it working by pressing Magic-OK which is the Shiftet Version. But I can't get it to work by using the "normal" OK ...

After maping the button in RM ...

Hi,

this is a good Idea ! With Macros I see every KEy even if it's not defined (like Key15 which then must be translated to hex) but there is allready one strange thing. If I press the "OK" Button IR.EXE told me I pressed "SHIFT Key114" but this isn't shifted.

If I press the Magic just before the ...

WOW !

this looks much better than my version ! Very nice. Only the Skip+/- key which are placed at the 1 and 3 are missing.

Great work !

As far as I can see we need the correct RDF File to name the buttons, and in the rdf file the different modes TV / VCR / DVD are defined ..

Ok let's see how ...

Hi again,

I just played a bit with the rdf File but in the RDF there are far more buttons as are available on the remote. Further I tried to programm the navigation (hard-) buttons but without success. It looks like the adresses of the keys are different from the 8206.

The numbers power, , chan ...

OK ,
the learning space starts at $0800

0800: 10 20 1D 00 D3 03 00 59 FF A5 00 8E 4B 90 00 59
0810: 4B 60 1A 12 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 20

But I don't get the whole remote filled up with $00 - maybe a problem with IR7b3 and JP1.x ??

Well .. I initialized the remote to $00, then the 981 reset and raw downloaded the data ..

THis time I made only the $00 init and downloaded the RAW date before doing the 981 reset.

It looks almost the same ..

Well no - no errormessage here !

I'm using IR.exe 7b3 .

Ok I will play around a bit and tell you if it works.

BTW a question - If I have a deviceupgrade for a SAT/CBL Type Device (in my case MediaMVP) and the remote does only have TV/VCR/DVD as possible device classes, is it possible to get this ...
