Hi Mark... thanks for the reply...
Yes, I've seen the standard 9960 listed, but somehow thought that it wasn't the correct selection, since I keep reading that B0 and B01 are completely different beasts...
Moreover, I still didn't come to the point of actually doing the upgrade... I was in the process of getting all the tools ready and getting acquainted with the process of upgrading...
Being a total novice exposes me to some failures, you know, and I feel that I should rule-out the guessing from the process before actually doing something on the remote...
A software error is not what makes a beginner happy
But I'm sure a solution is just behind the corner...
Thanks again...

The only problem I see is that the B01 uses a different set of offsets for the Device Combiner protocol (which I don't think you'll be using just yet). You've got nothing to lose by trying! _________________ Mark |

Just tried it, when I try to paste the upgrade (with keymoves in it) I still get the message that the Macro/Key Move is not terminated correctly.
I also still can't seem to make the upgrade without keymoves work in my 6960's. |

Argh!
Greg, I hate to tell you, but the pop-up windows that informs you of missing functions when switching from a remote to a different one, is larger than my screen!
I believe this happens because there is no line-feed in the info text that appears just below the window's titlebar...
Not that this is urgent at all, but I think you have to know about it...
Ciao!
