I am new to the forum and need some help.

I just downloaded OFA 9910 using JP1 interface. Where do I find the RDf file for this remote?

While downloading IR8.0 reads this remote as XCPT0CPT , processor as
Samsung S3C8 and interface as JP1.

any advise is welcome.

The RDF is included in the standard RDF zip file. You want all the RDFs, not just the RDF for your remote.

Sounds like you haven't read JP1 How-To's and Software Tools

I had already downloaded RDF.zip files, unzipped it, set the directory in IR.exe. I am able to select the URC 9910 remote also from the file menu.

However, when I download data frm my URC 9910 remote, I get a warning that there is no rdf file for the remote and after the download is done, I have only two tabs in the program; General and Raw, and in the raw tab, there are data.

I am unable to proceed further from this point. If I can copy the raw data, I can paste it in remote master and do something, but I dont know how.

Thanks for your help

Earlier I had all the files for IR.exe in a folder on D drive. Once I moved the folder to c drive I was able to download it in the URC 9910 format. Surprised

Thanks for your help.

When you had the files on the D drive, did you reset IR so that it pointed to the D drive for the RDFs?

To my knowledge, there IS NO XCPT0CPT RDF. The standard 8910/9910 rdf signataure is CPT0CPT0, and if you got a remote with the extender loaded, it could be CPT0CPX1 or CPT0CPTX2 or otherlike that. Where did you get XCPT0CPT?
