Updated RDF's, Maps and Images V1.12

If you have a new remote that isn't recognized by RMIR, post the details here so we can help create a new RDF for it. Or, if there is an issue with an existing RDF or map, this is the place.

Updated RDF's, Maps and Images V1.12

Post by Nils_Ekberg »

These RDF's are compliant with both IR V4.xx and RemoteMaster(RM) V0.8x or greater NOTE: KM does not require RDF's
RDF's for RM and IR

Full set of RM Maps and Images
Due to significant activity with RDF's and Images I have also added a full set of RM Maps and Images to the Tools for JP1 file section.
NOTE: If you are using the above set of RDF's with RM you will need this full set.
All Maps and Images for RemoteMaster V.8x or greater

CHANGES:
  • 1) Updates to the URC 9960 Map, image, and RDF for extender version 1
    2) Updated 8910/9910 RDF
    3) Updated Sc Explorer 3 RDF, map and image to add new image
    4) Updated 8060 Map to correct button allocations
You can selectively add the RDF's, Maps and Images you need however, if you choose to replace all, first remove and backup your old ones to eliminate conflicts with name changes.

I don't know if it's appropriate or not to post to this area, but I'm having problems downloading the new RDFs. When I attempt to double-click the link above or at the jp1 yahoo site, I time out. When I attempt to save the target, I get the message that the site may have been moved, or there may be a server problem.

Thanks for your help.

Nils,

Some of the RDFs for the new 6805 remotes need to have the following line added to the [General] section, immadiately after the Processor= line

ProcessorVersion=RC16/18

These are:

CYC0 (Navigator URC-44000B00).rdf
CYC1 (Navigator URC-44000B02-B04).rdf
INTU (Intuitive URC-31XXXB01).rdf
KWRV (Kenwood R0905 INCOMPLETE).rdf

See https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... =4979#p4979 for more information if desired.

Tim,

Rob emailed me the files yesterday. I really can't figure out why I had such a time with the download as I've never run into any hurdle getting files from the site before.

The people around here are very helpful--even when the questions are basic and seemingly self-evident. Thank you very much for the offer to help!

FYI: if it's visible, you can always use the Email button at the bottom of any message to email the author.

Nils, the DEV_AUX and DEV_AUD button assignments in the CPTOCPx1 RDF seem to have gotten reversed again.

I will take a look at it but I know I didn't change them since the fix based on my logs.

I have uploaded a final version of the Scientific-Atlanta ER1 RDF (formerly known as Explorer 3) to Yahoo. Please remove the old "ER10" RDF from distribution, as it was only a preliminary version with many incorrect settings.
