The bi-phase signal that you captured is not recognized by DecodeIR so this will need a new protocol built using PB, and you'll probably need help from an expert to do that.

so basically is this a lost cause or just something that gonna take me lots more work and reading on bi-phase remotes?

I doubt that the cause is lost, but you will have to be patient until one of the decoding and protocol-building experts gets around to .... uhhh ... decoding and building you a protocol. Unfortunately, I ain't one of them.

That's exactly right, so feel free to bump this thread every so often if nobody's jumped in to help. I normally do these custom protocols but I don't have much free time right now, so I'm hoping that someone else will do it, but if it doesn't get done, I will do it.

If you want to take a crack at it yourself, here's the guide to using PB...

I have created an upgrade for you. I don't have any remotes here, so it's completely untested. If it doesn't work, I can test it at home to see what's wrong with it.

The '0', '8' and FFWD buttons were too badly learned for me to get anything useful for them, so I would need you to re-learn those buttons in order to include them in the upgrade. While you're at it, could you also re-learn the '4' and '7' buttons.

Upgrade Code 0 = 7F D0 (SAT/2000) Triple Dragon (KM v8.37)
FF 00 A0 86 58 79 95 00 00 00 20 46 20 67 20 86
00 A6 20 C7 20 E8 01 26 00 00 21 68 22 E9 22 C8
22 47 22 87 22 68 25 A9 25 69 00 00 23 EA 24 47
24 27 24 06
End

Upgrade protocol 0 = 01 FF (S3C8+) Triple Dragon (PB v3.11)
43 8A 22 8B 14 8E 81 10 08 08 00 83 00 6F 00 83
00 6F A6 CC FF FF FF FF 04 8D 01 46
End

While you're at it, if any of the buttons are not what they appear (eg, you learn "HOME" to the PREV button) could you add a note stating what the buttons is please.

Could you be more specific (exact messages) as I've never heard of a protocol erasing itself before (and I'm able to add it to IR).

It looks like you are attempting to paste the upgrade protocol into the keymove section. You add the upgrade under devices tab and the upgrade protocol under the protocol tab.

PLEASE IGNORE THIS POST AS ITS COMPLETLY USELESS
except for possible aid to someone who searches same error

i had tried that way as well and gotten
invaild character in input

so then I cut it a bit and paste this in
Upgrade Code 0 = 7F D0 (SAT/2000) Triple Dragon (KM v8.37)
FF 00 A0 86 58 79 95 00 00 00 20 46 20 67 20 86
00 A6 20 C7 20 E8 01 26 00 00 21 68 22 E9 22 C8
22 47 22 87 22 68 25 A9 25 69 00 00 23 EA 24 47
24 27 24 06

43 8A 22 8B 14 8E 81 10 08 08 00 83 00 6F 00 83
00 6F A6 CC FF FF FF FF 04 8D 01 46

it sets ir up as a device but my remote will not reconize the update and retains old programed code

sorry my stupidity never did a direct cut paste from text for upgrade always have imported from a km file now see I had to paste bottem half in protocol area
code works GREAT
these are the buttons that have problems
5 repeats sometimes
6 is slow to take but works if hold down longer
7 repeats when hit al the time
also I mistakenly had the green and yellow buttons swaped in labeling notes

I just can't thank you enough for your work

Although it's likely not explicitly stated anywhere, you really don't have to individually enter each field in the Device and Protocol upgrade pop-ups in IR. If you Copy to the clipboard exactly what is in the post for Protocol upgrade:
Upgrade protocol 0 = 01 FF (S3C8+) Triple Dragon (PB v3.11)
43 8A 22 8B 14 8E 81 10 08 08 00 83 00 6F 00 83
00 6F A6 CC FF FF FF FF 04 8D 01 46
End
Then in IR on the Protocol tabbed worksheet, select the "Add" button on the bottom, just right click in the top section of the pop-up "upgrade protocol" box and click "paste" and all of the appropriate information will populate the appropriate fields.

Similarly for the Device upgrade:
Upgrade Code 0 = 7F D0 (SAT/2000) Triple Dragon (KM v8.37)
FF 00 A0 86 58 79 95 00 00 00 20 46 20 67 20 86
00 A6 20 C7 20 E8 01 26 00 00 21 68 22 E9 22 C8
22 47 22 87 22 68 25 A9 25 69 00 00 23 EA 24 47
24 27 24 06
End
In IR on the Device tabbed worksheet, select the "Add" button on the bottom, just right click in the top section of the pop-up "upgrade device" box and click "paste" and all of the appropriate information will populate the appropriate fields.

This should be precisely what you do when you copy and upgrade over from KM or RM, as well.
