|
|
I am trying to use RemoteMaster to export the binary upgrade file for the motorola BMC9012 PVR box. I need the binary upgrade file for use with a slingbox. I am using the BMC9012 file I found here
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=1292
Can anyone explain why I can't save the binary upgrade file? |

Did you select the Slingbox in RM's Remote drop-down after opening the upgrade? _________________ Mark |

You might need to download the Slingbox RDF's first. _________________ Mark |

I just tried with RM v1.41, and it worked fine.
- Make sure you've got the SlingBox RDFs (unzipped) in the same folder as all the other RDFs.
- Use File -> Open to load the desired upgrade file.
- Select the appropriate SlingBox in the "Remote:" drop-down list.
- Use Advanced -> Export Binary Upgrade... to create the binary upgrade file.

I've done all of these things and when I do the Advanced -> export binary upgrade... It doesn't write the file to a directory.
could it be that there is nothing in the "Upgrade Protocol Code "Required"" box? If so how and what do I enter in to that box? |

I tried this 1187 code twoce in my slingbox and it gave me an error message both times. I had to restart it both times. Also when I try importing binary upgrade in the RM v1.42 it won't import. |
