2116 possible to put a macro on the tv button?

2116 possible to put a macro on the tv button?

I am trying to get the remote to chge my Panasonic sa-he100 to tv mode then switch the remote to tv when I press the TV button on the remote

Yes. The 15-2116 is one of the few remotes that allows macros on the device buttons without using an extender.

I have a 15-2117. I wanted to know if its possible to setup a macro key that you would hold down for a certain period of time before the macro is activated. If so, can this be done without an extender?

If what you mean is you want one action to happen with a normal quick keypress and a different action to happen with a long key press this is what is know as LKP (Long Key Press) and does require an extender.

Actually, there's a stand-alone version for the 2116/2117.
