Hey Dave, thanks for posting the Roku 1,2,3 upgrade. It works great for the Roku 4 as well. I've been looking for the A B and Search buttons which are not in any of the upgrades in the file section. These buttons don't appear to be unique to the 4. I've googled it and the info seems to indicate that IR codes for these keys don't exist.
So my question is was your upgrade created after a brute force code search?
I really don't want to do one if I can avoid it, especially when I've found so many references that they do not exist. But the B button is important enough to go through the hassle. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

This thread also has some good info:

It's my understanding that A/B are only used for gaming and are only RF. I've never even tried gaming on Roku, so I wouldn't even know A/B if I found them. What does B do on the 4? I've never had a use for it on my 3 and earlier models.
But it would be nice to find the Search code, so I think another pass would be worthwhile.
I've done many brute force searches and never found Search before. I have come across the same commands that show up 3 or 4 times, but just picked one for my upgrade.

After reading that, I took another look. Because the Roku came with no manual I just tried things. When I pressed the B button Subtitles came up I thought that was what the B button does. But it turns out that the OK button does this too!
So the thing that is most needed for my marriage is there with the OK button! Thanks for doing all the grunt work on this thing. Those brute force searches drive me nuts, but are usually worth the effort, unless you get into something like Evil K mode, lol. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
