I have two different codesets for Optoma. I don't have a model number for the first:

NEC1:79.80
OBC
002 power tog
004 pc
008 volume
010 zoom
015 mute
016 freeze
017 menu
023 ok
024 re-sync
032 hdtv
035 s-vid
037 16:9/4:3
038 bright
039 contrast
019 `Up_Arrow
020 `Down_Arrow
022 `Left_Arrow
021 `Right_Arrow

Optoma DLP RD65
NEC1:2.245
OBC
130 ANT1
131 ANT2
134 Full Mode
135 Full Letterbox
138 4x3
145 AV1
146 AV2
147 AV3
148 SD
151 HD1
154 Discrete On
156 Discrete Off
192 User1
193 User 2
194 Cinema
195 User 3
196 Normal

You can create the device upgrades and test them. If one works, please let us know but post both upgrades in either case. If neither works then get the phone upgrade and test it and post it for the next person.

Projector information is hard to come by since many projectors are manufactured by others and sold under other brand names.

I assume the dog got this remote, too?

Tanks for reply !
I learned the buttons I wanted from the original remote ( they are all kept
in hihg spots to avoid Fido's hunger;)
The problem is that the upgrade I created doesn't work:(

Upgrade code 0 = 72 e3 (SAT/0739) Optoma
5a 00 d2 f9 00 ff ff
00 c7 47 87 27 00 00 00 00 00 1f af 00 bf 37 d7
97 57 17 77
End

Buttons:
NEC1
OBC
002 power
007 volume up
010 volume down
017 menu
027 s-vid
028 VGA
029 DVI
030 composite
019 `Up_Arrow
020 `Down_Arrow
022 `Left_Arrow
021 `Right_Arrow

Then I followed creating upgrade same way as for my DVD player ( that worked OK)

I'm not sure what's wrong ....

Based on the Fixed Data (00 FF FF), it looks like you didn't enter any Device and/or Sub-Device codes (which would have been decoded along with the EFC's).

I guess you are reffering to protocol parameters in RM ...
But where to find those ? :(

In this case you don't need to concern yourself with the Parm value. Both RM and KM will calculate it for you.

If you haven't yet, you should read the help and how-to doc's where most of this is covered (at least the basics anyway).

George, you said you learned some commands from the projector. Post the file in the diagnosis area with the learned commands. Also post your KM upgrade file and let us take a look.

Please read the sticky post about pasting links to the JP1 Yahoo group and put a link in a reply to this thread when you upload.

It looks like you didn't go to the butons tab in KM Master and assign buttons.

I used the Java Remote Master and the auto assign feature ...
Looks to me that they are assigned

Now I used KM master and the upgrade is identical:

It's simpler than that. For SAT/0739 change the "type" in the general tab to "sat" not TV.
