URC 9910 (w/RF ext) not taking Yamaha RX-V2065 upgrade.
I have the JP1 USB cable from diygadget.com, using IR 7.15/DecodeIR 2.36 and RM v1.98beta7. I was able to successfully download the info from the remote with IR, then learn the main buttons from the Yamaha remote and transfer the OBCs to RM. I selected a device code of 2010 and moved the output info back to the "Devices" tab in IR, then uploaded to the remote. When I press the RCVR/AMP device button on the remote, it displays the correct device code of 2010, but none of the functions work. Here is the .rmdu file:

Any suggestions?
Thanks,

I think we also need to see the IR file with the original learns. I notice that your upgrade uses NECx1 with a device and sub-device code of 7, which is surprising for a Yamaha receiver as they usually use NEC1 with device codes 122, 124 and 126.
NECx1 7.7 is more commonly used as a signal for TVs.

3FG beat me to it. I strongly doubt that your learns showed a NEC1x 7, 7. I would have expected a NEC1 type signal.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Well, first off, did you try any of the Yamaha upgrades in the file section, because Yamaha uses basically the same codeset for all of their receivers, which is how come we knew that it should really be NEC1 dev 122 and 124 and 126.
But, if you want to create the upgrade yourself, you do the same thing for the POWER button that you do for all the other buttons, you learn it along with all the other buttons (and then save your IR file), then use the learned data to plug into KM or RM to build an upgrade.

Okay, I just did a learn on the power button from the Yamaha remote, and it is coming up as a NEC1/126, with an OBC of 42. How do I merge that into the upgrade if everything else I've done so far is NEC1/122? I'm also trying some other buttons (Input < and >) that are giving me a protocol of "Gap-550-1687-32?" and a device of 122sub133, with a string of 4 hex numbers under "Misc".

Here's some background information:https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11675
Basically, you need the following "helper" protocol upgrade, and add keymoves to call the signals which decode as gap.

I also recommend that you upgrade to IR.exe version 8.02.

My Yamaha RX-V363 uses NEC1 Dev 126 (OBC 126=on & 127=off). The Scene selections come up with weird codes - Gap-578-1691-32? Dev 122 Sub 133 OBC 127=Scene 1, 124=2, 121=3 & 118=4. I bought a used 9910 and should soon have it programed for:
Yamaha RX-V363 - 5.1 Receiver
Samsung LN40B630 - LCD TV
Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8240 HDC - Time Warner DVR
Toshiba C-VR5SU - DVD-R/VCR Combo
I'll upload it when I have the upgrades perfect.
