Hi all. This is my first attempt at creating a bin file for the Slingbox.
I'm using RV type blaster file for an euro Solo.
I've been trying to generate a bin file to control a AB IPcom 910HD sat receiver.
My keys work except they repeat themselves. Pressing 1 will end up with something like 111, so it's unusable. I tried the different timing values from the slingplayer setup (fast, medium slow) to no avail.
This may be trivial, but so far, i haven't found the workaround. .rmdu and bin files available on request. Not sure where to post them yet are they're not really functionnal.
I've been using a USB IR Widget to capture the remote pulses.
Thanks

I can probably help, but I would need to see what you're working with. You need to load a copy of the RM file that you're using.

Thanks Robman,
I've uploaded the files in the relevant section (i think).
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6831
-Some additional info : the device code is 32, but some keys gave me a remote code of 33.
-I tried the streamzap_57KHz as well, as the capture showed frequencies above 57KHZ, it doesn't work at all.
I'll add any usefull info as i get them.
Thanks again.

Try using this RM file instead...

Just FYI, this version should only be needed for the Slingbox as the repeats would be handled properly by a remote.

Many thanks Rob. It's working now.
However, i'm not sure what you did to get this to work.
How did you came up with your own protocol from my original .rmdu file ?
The OBC values in the functions tab no longer match my keys found using IR scope.
Did you use protocol builder ? Could you please explain ? I didn't see any reference to custom protocols from any Slingbox tutorials so far.
Thanks again.

This isn't in the tutorials because it's not something a regular user should be expected to do.
Basically, I cut and paste the protocol (which I wrote, btw) from your RM file into PB (protocol builder) and then switched off the repeating feature. Then, I had to re-create the entire upgrade in KM because I don't think there's a way to start a "manual settings" upgrade in RM. Then I imported it back into RM.
The OBCs are different but the EFCs and the hex codes are the same, which is all that's important.
