Yamaha RX-V463

I didn't find an upgrade for this particular model in the files section. I was wondering which upgrade would be best suited for this model.

1. Device: Yamaha RX-V463 Receiver
2. Type of device: Audio Receiver
3. Year: 2008?
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: Cox 7820B
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? Not sure right now (It is for a friend's unit I haven't been able to try this yet)
10. Learning remote question? NA

Yamaha doesn't change the codes from one model to the next, so any upgrade will work. The only difference is the buttons that are available for each model, as some units will have features that others don't.

Rob is right, not much changed. I've used pretty much the same upgrade for my RX-V2090, HTR-550 and now my RX-V3800.

Pick one of the higher end receivers and then take out what's not on your receiver.
