New RS JP1.3 Remote (15-133)

Post by cerulean »

Hi,

I was just at RS and saw a remote that looked better than the 15-100 for my purposes, so I picked one up.

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... age=search

It has the header (labeled JP1.3), backlit buttons, non-recessed programming button, four (colored) macro buttons and the transport keys in the right location.

I searched the forum, but couldn't find any mention of it.

It worked with IR, but the signature (30853085) was unrecognized. I downloaded the latest rdf zip, but still no luck.

Any of you knowledgeable folks able to decode it for memory and the like?

Thanks,
Bob

It appears that the new 133 has the same signature as the 135 above. But it has a slightly different layout and fewer buttons. HERE are the completed RDFs for the 133, 134 and 135.

Colored buttons

How do I program the 4 colored buttons with Keymap-master? The closest remote signature is for the 15-135, but the colored buttons are greyed out in every device type.
I used to have 5 remotes that controlled one thing each. Now I have 6 remotes that each control everything!

You can do it directly in RM. In KM the 133 (and 134) to 135 keys translate as follows:

yellow = discreteOn
blue = discreteOff
green = phantom1
red = phantom2
start = HD
Xbox = AV2
PC = VCR
PSX = dev8

All others should match up.
