Tried to learn a signal from my Midi HiFi system remote - it is a tehnics
HE-65 system component, and uses a Technics audio system remote ref # RAK-CH214WH
1)
The button I wanted to decode was the CD button - this changes the input to the CD mode.
The data it found was a bit strange....listed below.
Decoder: DecodeIR (Version: 2.34)
Raw Signal Information
Frequency 0 Round To - BiPhase NO
Sent Once when pressed:
+20 -130378 +20 -130378
Sent Repeatedly while key is being held:
-
Sent once upon completion of other bursts:
-
Also if I edit the learned signal -
Learned Data
10 10 09 00 00 01 00 0A FE A5 02 00
2)
The Tape Button - again to select tape input.....
Gap-408-82... 4 0 0 - - 4.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0
Gap-408-30... 2 0 0 - - 2.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0
Gap-408-12... 10 96 246 - - A.60.69.23.0.2.A.A0....
this signal contains a section that IR doesn't know how to analyze.....
If I edit
Data :
0E 10 56 00 DA 0A 00 51 15 B6 00 95 09 AA 00 44
08 39 00 36 04 E2 00 CC 02 97 00 A3 02 BF 00 36
03 21 00 BE 00 F5 00 95 01 20 00 28 01 8A 32 13
08 29 67 57 77 87 77 77 44 74 77 47 44 74 47 77
47 77 77 77 77 77 47 77 1F 77 77 47 47 77 77 78
88 47 47 75 74 47 44 EF 30
All this was because I was actually trying to find if there was a remote signal for selecting the EXT input on the amplifier - it is not on the original remote, but has to be selected manually on the unit itself....I was hoping there might bea secret code!
A URC-7562 B00 was used to learn the signal.
Any thoughts....
Cheers, Ali

It is not practical to learn much from quotes of the information presented from a bad decode.
If there is anything to be deduced from that learn, I or another expert looking at it would need to load the .ir file containing a few learned signals into IR.exe ourselves to poke around.
That's why we have a diagnosis area.
Be sure to post back to this thread the URL of the file within the diagnosis area.
Also, I hope you have more than those two buttons learned from that device. That first one looks like a bad learn with no useful content and the second looks like it will be difficult enough that I couldn't figure anything out from just that one sample.
