I just purchased a MCE remote control for my PC, since I'm finally moving into the 20th century. (Previously I was using an irman.)
I'd like to use the existing device upgrade with my Atlas remote control (JP1.2), however, when I use RemoteMaster 1.77, I get this message:
The selected protocol "Manual Settings" (01 2A) is not compatible with the selected remote. This upgrade will NOT function correctly. Please choose a different protocol.
I know that the device upgrade works because I could get it to work successfully with my URC8910 (JP1).
I do have the remote control so I could manually learn everything and create my own upgrade, but I was wondering if somebody already had an upgrade that I can use.
Thanks,
Joe
Edit: I forgot to add, I'm using IR7.00beta3, and I'm using the Atlas RDF file from here:

The "too many entries" error most likely indicates a keymove format problem. The new format has the length in a different spot so it could be misinterpreting the length.JoeVulture wrote:Thank you, that works, RemoteMaster will at least deal with it.
Now I just have to figure out why IR won't take it ("The Fav/Scan list contains too many entries. The list will be truncated").

I just tried adding the following test MCE device upgrade and IR7 accepted it.
Code: Select all
Upgrade code 0 = 0C 57 (Cable/1111) (RM v1.76)
2A 00 01 E2 80 0F 04
End
