Hi,
Using RS 15-2117 with Extender 3. On certain devices, I would like the volume keys to repeatedly send the same code until released. Is there any way to program this in?
Cordially,
Eric

If you're using the correct protocol, buttons that are supposed to repeat will repeat. The fact that your buttons are not repeating implies that you have selected the wrong protocol when building your upgrades, or if you're using a built in setup code, it just happens that that code is using the wrong protocol. Unfortunately, you haven't included any of the info that we would need to diagnose the problem.
Based on experience, this typically means you are using the NEC1 protocol where the NEC2 protocol is required. If you have a Samsung device and are using a built in setup code, this is usually the issue.
Please provide the following info in order to proceed...
1) The device being controlled (ie, brand and model)
2) Which setup code are you using (if applicable)
3) Which upgrade are you using (if applicable - please provide a link).

Thanks Rob. Your reply caused me to test again. What I found is that the "base station" of my 15-2117 is "blinding" the sensor on this unit. When I unplug that base station and point the remote directly at the unit, it works fine. I had started another thread on this "blinding" -- I'll post again there.
