IR6 vs RDF and notes

Post by ElizabethD »

This may well be a well known feature. If so, I apologize in advance, but I just took a hit  changing from RDF117 to RDF1[1].18 directory.
The process of setting RDF path with IR-upgrade file already open removes all notes from the file. This is true whether you set to the new directory or the same.
Simple solution is to Set Path first with no file loaded :D

No file rescue required with this event: at the same time that the notes vanish, the little blue space indicators go away. But the byte counts are correct :)

That's weird, I'll have to try it to see if I can re-produce it myself.

Might as well throw this one here for a list of minor tweeks in the future:
I just noticed that the headings above the ToadTog key lists can be delayed a step. IR shows headings of the previous, in time, ToadTog editing. This delay is easy to miss, as it only follows a change in ToadTog type, and IR does the correct translation anyway.

The notes disappear for me, too. It's definitely a bug.
