URC-6440 - Learn and convert to upgrade problem

Post by t4_ravenbird »

Hi

I am using an URC 6440 with extender 1.00 and RMIR and the versions as announced here ; https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15831
It is working very well so I am super-happy with it.

I have a little problem, though. Just for fun I wanted to control a fan-heating-oven and used the remote to learn the 7 buttons off of the original remote and when I operate the oven with the learned codes it works fine.
However, after using the "convert to upgrade" - button in the "learned signals" section in RMIR I get a problem. The newly created upgrade looks fine but if I upload it to the remote it does not work, oven does no longer respond.

Here is a .rmir with learn-signals and a generated .rmdu ;

Is there any tip to what could give me problems here?
I have used the learn->convert procedure successfully for other things so I dont understand what could be wrong here

In your RMDU file, locate the Parms field, and delete the 0, making it an empty field. This is a recently discovered bug in Convert To Upgrade. It happens with the NEC1/2/1x/2x PID 005A executor. We're working on it.
