Custom Remote tweak to reduce the repeat value

Post by mrlol »

Hi All,

I have Pace DT280IMC decoder. I have installed Pace TDS865IMC custom remote on my slingbox solo. When controlling the decoder using this custom remote the Program Guide comes and disappear to quick to actually read anything.

Please assist.

Thanks and regards

If you installed an upgrade that you downloaded from here, please post a link to the file in question.

I wrote this one and it uses the XMP(Slingbox) protocol. This looks like the good old repeat argument again, in that the Guide code might be transmitting more than once and it is reacting to a second burst to turn it off ?

Oh, I was hoping you had a non repeating version in that doctored ini file. I could swear I've done a non repeating XMP before.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Alan, the original slingbox signal set 4 frames + a toggle frame,

The code below, sends 2 frames +1 toggle. I suspect this would always be enough for a slingbox and should stop the repeating problems

CODE.S3C80=43 8B 71 8B 05 00 00 69 01 67 08 0A F0 C0 04 0A C0 60 C0 0E 04 07 C0 88 C0 B6 C8 08 CF 10 09 6B 05 E4 0A 09 B0 0A C0 C5 E6 0D 02 F6 FF 42 C6 F8 9E E5 F6 01 58 46 08 80 08 C8 37 5E 3F 46 08 10
00 C0 56 C0 0F 56 07 F0 44 C0 07 6C 03 F6 FF 57 C6 F8 17 F1 F6 01 58 4C 04 F6 FF 67 F6 FF 67 6E 4A F7 1C 12 8D 01 4C F6 FF 62 F1 C6 C7 26 56 C2 0F 6B 09 C6 F8 00 3E F6 01 58 2A F7 AF

After you import this, could you please post your doctored ini file somewhere in the sling area?

I hope this will clear up the problem, otherwise I have to do some digging to get rid of the second frame, and I really just barely understand XMP, so would hate to have to do this.

I won't post my file, as I have also removed a lot of the protocols that I will never use. What I have posted is the additional protocols that I have added with the repeat set to zero. These are:

[CanalSat(No repeat)]
[GI Cable (No repeat)]
[NEC1 (No repeat)]
[RC-5 (No repeat)]
[RC6-M-20n (No repeat)]
[XMP (Slingbox)(No repeat)]

It's in the Slingbox Work files area at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=11416

Hi Alan,

It doesn't work.

1. No error message.
2. I have given the power command more than two minutes to react but did power the decoder.
3. After completing the setup non of the buttons are working ( I have noticed that the "Guide" button is disabled)
4. I have confirm that the IR Blaster is working by reverting back to the other BIN file.

Thank

I wonder if the installation was correct, as the Guide button is definatey enabled. I have rechecked and the ONLY difference between the files is the tweaked protocol.
