But, I am not aware how to convert that file into sling remote BIN file.

To post the file, you would have to load it into the File Section first (please use the Diagnosis Area). There is a link to the file section at the top of this page. Once the file is loaded, post a link to it here.

I posted the link to the Red-Rat library because, in order for us to do anything with the file that you post, we would need to understand the format. If you are aware of any documentation describing the format of the data, please post a link to it.

this is a XML format file and you could use XML editor to view the contents or use red rat signal db utility (that can be downloaded from internet) for viewing the contents

I think, you could easily understand the file structure once you view that on xml editor

I don't want to load the redrat database utility, but it does look like the utility gives you a scope type representation of the signal. If anybody does use the redrat db editor, could you post some screen shots of these signals.

The main data is encoded using base64 and I found the following site that decodes base64: http://www.base64decode.org/

Here's a sample from an RCA TV, so it hopefully uses the RCA protocol.

The first signal in the XML file decodes as Nokia32 35.128 OBC 41.
I used a different base64 online conversion site, because we need to convert to byte values rather than some character encoding. I then opened base64.bin in a hex editor and got the following values:

Can we do Nokia32 in a Slingbox? Or is it too big? I'll assume that we can.

That IR Protocol and device codes are the same as those used by the Pace TDS-850NNZ. That is in the Harmony database so I was able to learn the codes. I have produced a test remote at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=10969
