To post the file, you would have to load it into the File Section first (please use the Diagnosis Area). There is a link to the file section at the top of this page. Once the file is loaded, post a link to it here.

I posted the link to the Red-Rat library because, in order for us to do anything with the file that you post, we would need to understand the format. If you are aware of any documentation describing the format of the data, please post a link to it.

thankyou very much and I could able to upload the file

please find the link for the file to download
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=10968

this is a XML format file and you could use XML editor to view the contents or use red rat signal db utility (that can be downloaded from internet) for viewing the contents

I think, you could easily understand the file structure once you view that on xml editor

I don't want to load the redrat database utility, but it does look like the utility gives you a scope type representation of the signal. If anybody does use the redrat db editor, could you post some screen shots of these signals.

The main data is encoded using base64 and I found the following site that decodes base64: http://www.base64decode.org/

Here's a sample from an RCA TV, so it hopefully uses the RCA protocol.

<SigData>AAABAgECAQIBAgEDAQMBAgECAQMBAwEDAQMBAwEDAQMBAwECAQIBAwEDAQIBAgECAQIBBAAAAQIB AgECAQIBAwEDAQIBAgEDAQMBAwEDAQMBAwEDAQMBAgECAQMBAwECAQIBAgECAQQAAAECAQIBAgEC AQMBAwECAQIBAwEDAQMBAwEDAQMBAwEDAQIBAgEDAQMBAgECAQIBAgF/</SigData>

The first signal in the XML file decodes as Nokia32 35.128 OBC 41.
I used a different base64 online conversion site, because we need to convert to byte values rather than some character encoding. I then opened base64.bin in a hex editor and got the following values:

Code: Select all

00 01 02 01 02 03 02 01 02 04 02 03 02 01 02 01 02 01 02 00 02 03 02 03 02 00 02 01 02 03 02 03 02 00 02 7f 00 01 02 01 02 03 02 01 02 04 02 03 02 01 02 01 02 01 02 00 02 03 02 03 02 00 02 01 02 03 02 03 02 00 02 7f
Taking just the first of the two repeated signals, this converts to:

Code: Select all

+410 -290 +150 -290 +150 -625 +150 -290 +150 -790 +150 -625 +150 -290 +150 -290 +150 -290 +150 -410 +150 -625 +150 -625 +150 -410 +150 -290 +150 -625 +150 -625 +150 -410 +150 -88000
and importing that timing list into IRScope gave the decode.

Can we do Nokia32 in a Slingbox? Or is it too big? I'll assume that we can.

purplesi,
Can you do the labor of converting all of the signals? And do you have a list of function names to correspond the the learned signals?

Yes,

I knew the function names and its available under 'name' for each signal.

if you need my help, please guide me and I could ready the required file for this

after all converting, in which format shall I store the file?

thanks

That IR Protocol and device codes are the same as those used by the Pace TDS-850NNZ. That is in the Harmony database so I was able to learn the codes. I have produced a test remote at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=10969

Worth trying ?
