Thank you, that works, RemoteMaster will at least deal with it.
Now I just have to figure out why IR won't take it ("The Fav/Scan list contains too many entries. The list will be truncated").

MCE HTPC codes on Atlas (JP1.2) remote
I just purchased a MCE remote control for my PC, since I'm finally moving into the 20th century. (Previously I was using an irman.)
I'd like to use the existing device upgrade with my Atlas remote control (JP1.2), however, when I use RemoteMaster 1.77, I get this message:

My own strange JP1.2 experience...
I purchased a JP1.2 cable from DIY Gadget, received it tonight.
It won't work on the serial port of my Dell Inspiron 600m with Windows XP Professional, but it does work if I use my USB to serial adaptor (a Keyspan USA-19QW) instead (on the same laptop). Go figure.
I decided to share this in case ...

CBL/1877 EFCs
Hi all,
I recently (tonight!) acquired a couple of Atlas DVR remote controls. Normally I'd look into this with JP1, except that these remotes use JP1.2. Naturally, when the JP1.2 interface is finalized, I will either make my own (with assistance) or purchase one.

I just joined the forum today, although I have done a little lurking in the past. I don't own a JP1.2 compatible remote, although I am considering purchasing one (URC-10820).
I've taken a quick look at the datasheet, and have posted my comments to some points below. Normally I'm given a clean slate ...

URC-10820, Keymover and EFCs
At the moment, I'm using an unmodified URC-6131 to control my MythTV machine (Linux-based PVR) using the VCR code 0081.
The 6131 is a decent remote, but I'm liking the look of the URC-10820, it looks more "sexy" to me than the 6131. I'd probably never use half of the functions of it, but it looks ...
