Okay, I just did a learn on the power button from the Yamaha remote, and it is coming up as a NEC1/126, with an OBC of 42. How do I merge that into the upgrade if everything else I've done so far is NEC1/122? I'm also trying some other buttons (Input < and >) that are giving me a protocol of "Gap ...

Yes, it was NEC1 and 122. So I'm getting somewhere now.

Now I need to figure out how to get the power button to work...I could do a direct learn--that worked before, but I want to put that in the upgrade instead.

Thanks--you may be on to something there. I may have selected NECx1 without realizing that is different from NEC1. I also didn't save the IR file with the learned codes (an oopsie on my part). I will try again and let you know.

URC 9910 (w/RF ext) not taking Yamaha RX-V2065 upgrade.

I have the JP1 USB cable from diygadget.com, using IR 7.15/DecodeIR 2.36 and RM v1.98beta7. I was able to successfully download the info from the remote with IR, then learn the main buttons from the Yamaha remote and transfer the OBCs to RM. I selected a device code of 2010 and moved the output info ...
