I have finally gathered all of the discrete on/off and video inputs for my equipment. Programed all of the various commands into my URC-R6. Everything works great. Except getting a macro to end in desired function.
I have created several macros to ie- turn everything on, switch to audio source, select video input, and open DVD tray. However, the final active component isn't the audio function which will allow me to have control of the volume. I have to switch to audio component after the macro runs.
How can I program the macro to end in the audio mode?
Need help with last command in a macro

It's easier if you provide your IR file to look at, but basically, add one additional final command to your macro that sets the desired device. (AUX or V_AUX or whatever applies - since I can't tell whether you are using an extender or what.)
What is a URC-R6, anyways? I've never heard of a JP1 remote with that nomenclature.

Well, now you are asking about a non-UEI remote, which I would imagine, less people here will be familiar with.
At least with UEI remotes, device keys can be part of macros, so the last key in the macro can be the audio device key so that it ends up in audio mode at the end of the macro. Maybe that can work on your remote as well.

I think he is talking about this remote, which is not a UEI remote:Capn Trips wrote:What is a URC-R6, anyways? I've never heard of a JP1 remote with that nomenclature.
