Pioneer 4DEV protocol for JP1.2 remotes in RM?

Post by Capn Trips »

Trying to modify this Pioneer Amp upgrade for my Atlas URC 1055 JP1.2 remote (10251025 sig) I discovered that RM does not support the Pioneer 4DEV protocol for this remote/processor yet.

KM has this protocol for this remote listed as "untested".

Code: Select all

"HCS08 Protocol Code (57 bytes):
*** NOTE: this Protocol is Untested and/or a Beta version ***"

Upgrade Protocol 0 = 01 D0 (HCS08) Pioneer 4DEV (KM v9.10)
 20 15 21 43 42 E5 44 08 08 01 03 03 2A 01 03 01
 13 AD A4 10 A8 08 57 5F 05 64 01 59 05 65 00 59
 8C AF 60 7E 60 15 64 15 65 CD FF 5F 3C A9 CD FF
 5F 3A A9 CD FF 92 25 F1 81
End

I used KM to build the upgrade and tested it, and as far as I can tell, it works fine.

Can this protocol be added to RM?

Since you've indicated that it works OK, I will remove the "untested" status for this one in the next version of KM. (This one of Rob's "hacked" protocols that is not in any remote; I translated it to HCS08 but did not test it.)
