Need left and right key codes for Toshiba HD-A2. Tried the listed KM file for the HD-A1 and all seem to work on the A2 except these keys.
Thanks |

Do you have a learning remote? If so, learn them from the original remote and see how they decode.
Otherwise, try some of the gap OBC codes to see if any of them are the missing arrow keys. _________________ Rob

Rob,
I do have a learning remote (15-2117) but don't have the orginal to learn from. Bought an "open box" demo unit without cord or remote.
Too much of a novice to understand/do your second suggestion. Do you mean start experimenting by putting in other possible EFC combinations?
Tried to force a key move using the EFC in the KM based on the HD-A1 but that didn't work either.

May have figured out the problem. Tried adding the KM device codes to a 15-1995 and the directional arrows worked. Appears I had learned codes for the left/right buttons from my prior DVD player that was trumping the new device's keys on the 2117.
Thanks for your help. |

SBM911,
Have you tried discrete on from the A1 file on your A2? I can't get it to work. In fact, I've tried every code, and none is discrete on. And I've searched some other boards and not found a definitive answer. But "play" seems to be a good substitute, as it will turn the A2 on. |
