It works! I recorded few signals switching to different units. They completely match learned codes from Dish. Binky123, thanks again for the ref. Big space saver Smile
Cool! Since I am soon to return to the US and likely to become a Dish customer again, this is outstanding news!

I wonder if to make a zip package similar to what Hal did for Tivo and post here.
Absolutely. You should just upload the ZIP (with decent instructions) to the SAT (and maybe PVR) folder(s) and link to it here.

I'm certain the code can be modified to work on the x820 remotes.

By the time you migrate across the pond, you'll have it.
I edited one post above about bits for unit. Facts got in the way of my previous conclusions Crying or Very sad

Use at risk. I just bumped into something accidentally.
Register BF may have been free in most remotes before extenders.
Quick glance at several extenders makes me think that register BF is ok for 1994ext3(likely), 2116ex3, 8910ext1, 601x/881x/801x v3, 6900(probably), 6131ext1(definitely works).

But under 1994ext5, 7800ext2, 7560ext, 8060 ext1, 9960 ext2a, things are unlikely to be pretty Sad

While ActiveSelect protocol is unaffected, a switch to another place is needed here.
Upgrade protocol 0 = 00 02 (S3C8+) DishNetworkCombo-rBF (PB v4.00)
2B 5C 51 8B 16 B6 59 05 06 00 C5 03 32 00 C5 05
73 0B F2 00 C5 0B F2 05 03 43 8C E4 BF 03 56 03
F0 18 08 56 C1 03 87 21 04 29 04 8D 01 46
End

and in the keymoves already built such as:
CBL/SAT = SHIFT-3, <N/A>, CBL/SAT, 1105, $BF $40 - for Dish unit#3

Then again, it's rough for me to tell which things are more volatile than others, where conflicts might/might not occur. Comments from extender writers most welcome, since it's unlikely a good idea to stuff a fixed byte into where temporary device, or transport device, or last device key pressed are held.
