I got my free upgrade, but where is pin 1 ?

i just want to be certain that the board is drawn correctly. with the / for pin 1

Look around the edge of the 6-pin and you'll notice there's a white border that looks a little like an old index card because one of the corners is cut away. Well, the cutaway corner is pin1.

Note that you can't harm the remote by plugging your JP1 cable in the wrong way. If it IR can't communicate with the remote when the cable is plugged in one way, try reversing the cable.
