The latest version of KM, v8.02, is now available.
Check out the new Import feature! It's detailed in the "keymap-master-Import-Button.txt" file.
Other changes include:- Minor UI changes and enhancements.
- Added a 'Save As' prompt when the Description is changed in an existing file.
- Added additional named protocols from devices4.xls: Akai $000D, Audiovox $005D, Hamlin $0029, Scientific Atlanta $0078, Viewstar $0021

I think some of the names in devices4 were mistakes. It would be better to fix devices4 than to extend the mistakes into KM. Maybe Rob can explain whether those particular names were mistakes or had good reason.
I don't have much data on this computer. Somewhere I have a bunch of decodes that match protocol 000D. None of them are Akai. Don't all the common Scientific Atlanta devices use Panasonic_Old protocol device 27? |

As usual, you're probably right. I came across Audiovox while working on an upgrade, and just went fishing. I should've checked with yourself or Rob first... sorry.

Agreed. If either of you can come up with more proper names, I'll make the changes. _________________ Mark |
