Polaroid DVP-1000 DVD

Does anyone know setup codes for Polaroid DVP-1000 DVD player. It may be manufactured by someone else and their codes might be compatible.

This is a new player and I can't find a thing on products made by Polaroid.

Have you tried learning from the OEM remote and letting IR decode the signals?

No, that's a fallback option that I probably should have tried first. I was hoping that someone knew that it was compatible with xyz player. That would have made thing easier.

Yup... you should've tried learning first!

In the time you were sitting there waiting for a reply, you most likely could have gotten all the info you needed to create your own upgrade for it.

If you don't find something in the files area or via a search of these forums (including the old Yahoo group), learning is always the best and quickest option (unless, of course, you don't have a learning remote).

HGH, please read the sticky thread entitled "The #1 Code Search FAQ and it's answer (PLEASE READ FIRST)" and then supply the answers to the following two questions contained in that thread:

1) Do you have a LEARNING JP1 remote?
2) Do you still have an original working remote for the device in question?
