The purpose of checking for a Pronto file is that you might find a CCF that can be converted to the proper protocol and EFC's, etc.venik wrote:7. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? no-- I do not have a Pronto.
Have you tried learning to the 2116 and decoding the signals with IR?

Using the mandatory template format makes it easier for us to help you, was there some overriding reason that you chose not to use it?venik wrote:ALL the information required in the #1 faq was, actually, in my original post about this.
Also, you failed to answer the following question both times...
#1 FAQ wrote:Finally, if your JP1 remote is a learning remote and you do have the original remote, please explain what is preventing you from using learning to capture the signals and then you building an upgrade yourself.

And we'd still like to know the answer to that question, since it seems you are basically saying that you are too lazy to do it yourself, and are really asking one of us to do it for you. If I had all the time I needed, that would be no problem, but my reality is somewhat different! The Robman wrote:Also, you failed to answer the following question both times...#1 FAQ wrote:Finally, if your JP1 remote is a learning remote and you do have the original remote, please explain what is preventing you from using learning to capture the signals and then you building an upgrade yourself.
As it happens, I've already programmed a few remotes for the DMR-E85H, and built an upgrade or two. I never posted them because they just were not that different from the DMR-E80H (something you could easily have determined yourself by trying the E80H upgrade and/or learning some E85H keys). Anyway, here it is: Panasonic DMR E85H
