New RDF files and old Tools...

If you have a new remote that isn't recognized by RMIR, post the details here so we can help create a new RDF for it. Or, if there is an issue with an existing RDF or map, this is the place.

New RDF files and old Tools...

Post by Mark Pierson »

We haven't seen any reports of problems, but I'm wondering if there's any chance that the new RDF format might break some of the other tools, like ExtInstall, etc?

I did a test using the old and the new RDF's for exinstall and the output was identical. The input file included 5 upgrades, about 30 keymoves and 15 or so macro's. Did a file compare and a visual review and it looks fine. I have not tested other tools.

Obviously the current version of IR does not like the new format so the button names look real funcky but the load to the remote actually works.
