How can I load text file to remote?

Isn't there a better way to load the data to the remote? Why hasn't someone come up with a webpage option by now?
Do I still have to use the spreadsheet in Excel? Clicking on Load doesn't do anything!

By "spreadsheet", I assume you mean KM? The program used to actually interface with the remote is IR. KM is used to create the upgrade code that gets copied over to IR and then uploaded to the remote. You can also use the Java-based RM.

The Load button on KM's Setup sheet is used to open existing upgrade files (it's not meant to "load" the remote). If it (or any of the other command buttons) aren't working, then you don't have macros enabled - check the security settings in Excel.

It wouldn't load the text file but changing security fixed that, now on to the next problem.
