new device-apex ad-2600 on 8910

hi,

i d/l the apex ad-2600 dvd text file, and using km and ir added the device to my remote. when looking at the functions and keys on the worksheet it looks like that they should all line up correctly, but when i upload and use dvd, the functions are all lined up to incorrect keys. any ideas why this would happen?

Did you have the URC-8910 selected as your remote in KM?

Yes, I have the 8910 selected in KM. I tried it a few times, but always get the wrong keys.

Did you by chance change the device type of the upgrade when you pasted it into IR? For example, if KM is using DVD/1234 but you changed it to CBL/1234, IR might display the results you describe.

It might help if you upload your saved IR file to the Diagnosis area.

Thanks all.

I noticed that after i loaded the file, it reverted to another remote, thus just moved it back to the 8910.
