Does anyone know if there are any discrete on/off codes for s Strong 5390.
The Strong 5390 is a digital TV receiver with a 80gb hdd for recording. I've learnt all the basic buttons so far, but the remote dosn't have any discrete buttons
I have a urc-8811 learning remote with a JP1 cables and software. |

What are the Protocol, Device, and Sub-Device details for the signals you've learned? _________________ Mark |

Protocol: NEC1
Device: 0
Sub-Device: 0
The power toggle is EFC=181, OBC=0, Hex=ff
I found a code for the 5290 (presious model) which was EFC=201, however I havn't had any luck |

I've just bought a Strong 5390 and am trying to control it via a SlingBox.
I don't have a learning remote, therefore I'm hoping someone else out there has already done it and can point me in the direction of the upgrade file.
I know how to apply update files (applied a file for a strong 5290) but nothing is working at all.
Would greatly appeciate some assistance.
Thanks... |
