RM-IR not opening RMDU files

I have RemoteMaster v2.02a; it is not opening any *.rmdu(s); *.rmir open fine. I've downloaded an upgrade file and have saved *.rmdu files but none open. This dilemma was resolved by installing RemoteMaster 1.99b; why doesn't RM-IR 2.02a work?
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!em

Did you install them to a different path? There is a Setup.vbs script that I had a heck of a time running under Windows 7. Once I got it to go, all my files opened. Setup VBS gave me my icons and setup the file associations.

recently reworked setup.vbs. Have you tried using his version?

I have a hard time installing the java version and opt for the *.exe. I unistalled 202a before installing 199b (EXE files)
