I have RemoteMaster v2.02a; it is not opening any *.rmdu(s); *.rmir open fine. I've downloaded an upgrade file and have saved *.rmdu files but none open. This dilemma was resolved by installing RemoteMaster 1.99b; why doesn't RM-IR 2.02a work?

Did you install them to a different path? There is a Setup.vbs script that I had a heck of a time running under Windows 7. Once I got it to go, all my files opened. Setup VBS gave me my icons and setup the file associations.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Anthony Patrick recently reworked setup.vbs. Have you tried using his version?
I have a hard time installing the java version and opt for the *.exe. I unistalled 202a before installing 199b (EXE files)vickyg2003 wrote:Did you install them to a different path?
