Next Question:
If I modify a device in KM which eliminates a few keymoves, it seems I need to manually remove the keymoves from IR as well. True? In other words, if a previous device had 7 keymoves in the remote, and I modify it in KM to use 4 keymoves, do I need to manually go to the keymoves screen in IR and remove the unneeded keymoves after I transfer the modified code from KM to IR? It seems so...
Another way to ask: If I delete a device in IR, does it also delete the associated keymoves? It doesn't seem so...
Just a sanity check....

<crackly voice>Son, I remember the old days when KM didn't even do keymoves, and you had to do them manually in IR, and it was uphill both ways!</crackly voice>chico_woodhill wrote:If I delete a device in IR, does it also delete the associated keymoves? It doesn't seem so...
Once you have imported the keymoves into IR, IR no longer remembers any association between the keymoves and the upgrade. So, no, if you delete the upgrade, the keymoves remain untouched.
