New RDF and Maps/Image Release 1.32

If you have a new remote that isn't recognized by RMIR, post the details here so we can help create a new RDF for it. Or, if there is an issue with an existing RDF or map, this is the place.

The rdf zip file downloads without the .zip extension, and therefore will not open on a doubleclick. I suggest adding the .zip extension back to it.

Thanks for all the hard work on this, xnappo. Besides no zip extension, the file contains extra folders and versions like .svn\text-base and prop-base. I can deal with it, but I don't think it's what you intended.

3A333A33 (Atlas OCAP URC-1056 JP1.3 (Black)_(Silver) extender).rdf
If this file is supposed to be included in the distribution, then this change might be a good idea, but check with Bill:
change FavKey=$28,$1E,15,5
to FavKey=$22,$1E,15,5

3A333A33 (Atlas OCAP URC-1056 JP1.3 (Black)_(Silver) extender V2.10).rdf
probably should be in the distribution as well, with the same correction, because Atlas extender 2.10 is used by many people and don't need to switch to 2.11. Again I'd check with Bill.

Both of those changes are correct, it is just a function of how many we want to keep around.
this JP1 stuff is a sickness!

RS00RS00 (RS 15-1935_1934 7-in-1).rdf

needs a blank line before the [Protocols] Section.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

xnappo,

a couple of things that need to be changed

URC-7940 needs a phantom device added. Internally its the same as the URC-7950.

Also there has been some chatter that the RCA RCRP095B needs protocol section updated. That probably applies to the 10820 and 10820n as well. I don't think there has ever been anything done to address the PAUSE protocol overlaps, and there are some variants that need to be changed.

I have now posted an Addendum to Version 4 of the RDF Specification. This gives Version 5 as additions and amendments to Version 4. Version 5 is required to support JP1.4, JP2, JP2.1, JP3 and XSight remotes. It is used by the forthcoming RMIR v2.03 whose development is nearing completion, see this thread.

In anticipation of this RMIR release, I have posted new or modified RDFs for JP2/3 and XSight remotes to the RDF Release Area on SourceForge. I have also packaged these, together with those for JP1.4 remotes and the corresponding maps and images, and posted it here in the RDF file section.

While doing this, I found that the two links to the Release Area from File Section/Tools/RDF Files now seem to go to the wrong place in SourceForge. Several more clicks are needed afterwards to reach the RDFs and Maps, steps that would not be obvious to the uninitiated. Could these links be corrected, please?

Edit 29 June 2014: The RDFs are now updated to include a new entry, PunchThru, in the [General] section. This is supported by RMIR v2.03 Alpha 23 but will be ignored by any earlier versions. The Addendum to the RDF Specification has also been updated to include this entry.
