CANT GET KM TO LOAD

Post by Dave Sampson »

I am just getting started and thanks to some excellent documentation have gone through Keymap Master and was feeling real good about the whole process. I tried to do a save and ran into problems. I cant get Save, Load, or any of the keys on the spreadsheet itself under the Upgrade Description field to work. I have tried loading both 7.11 and the newer 8. and no good. The cursor changes from a cross to an arrow when over the keys but nothing else happens. I tried using CTRL and ALT along with the underscored letter and nothing.

I am using Windows 2000 and Excel 2000 9.0.... with SP3. Both of the Analysis Add-Ins are checked. Thanks for any help.

I believe you need to enable macros.

You have macros disabled in Excel and you need to enable them.

Go to Tools/Options/Security/MacroSecurity and make an approprite choice (normally that would be "Medium").

Thanks guys, thats it. Wow what response. FYI, on this Excel it is Tools, Macro, Security. And it still would not work until I shut down Excel and restarted it. Thanks Again.

That works in this copy of Excel as well. I had just forgotten that and when I poked around quickly in Excel to find that dialog, I found a harder path to it first.

Sorry I forgot to mention that.
