Except that this one has gone past my personal knowledge base :D I keep telling people that with RM-produced Custom Remotes we have no control over the repeat function as this is fixed. So they (and me) have to live with 'double skipping'.

But I know you have 'tweaked' protocols to change the repeat settings, is it something I could learn how to do ?

Sometimes its as simple as changing a number, in a box labeled Repeats, other times it takes assembly language work. Personally I hate the s3c8 assembley language, but its only about 75 verbs, so its not all that difficult. I believe you have brushed up against assembley language some time in your past, and its kind of like riding a bicycle, hard to master at first, but you don't forget it.

Yes, I'm sure that we can bring you up to speed if you have a PB compatible version of Excel.

Yes, when I was much younger I was quite comfortable coding the 6502 processor in assembler, hacking the Operating System of a microcomputer. But that was in 1982 !!

What's 'PB' ? I have Excel 2003 and 2007.

Well my assembley language experience was before yours! But then you know us women, we NEVER FORGET! No matter how many brain cells I killed with alcohol since then, I couldn't erase my much hated brush with assembler.

PB is protocol builder. Its a really powerful JP1 tool written by Mike, Mr???Gumby. PB is little intimidating, but it does most of the heavy lifting.

PB and related protocol builder information is found in this folder. Having a Widget really helped me in this process. I tried and tried to figure out what they were tweaking, but seeing the picture made this so much easier.

You'll also need to take a look at the samsung s3c8 manuals found here to see how the assmebler language works out compared to the assembler you worked with before. The s3c8 assembler reads like pig-latin to m. I much prefer the JP1.2 assembler.
