|
|
Hello all
I bought a slingbox from the US and I use it to watch my Australian Foxtel IQ box.
Because it is from the US it doesn't include the remotes which are found in the UK or Australian version.
The bin file I am using is great for changing the channels (thanks Robman - much appreciated!)
I'm using the bin file discussed here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=74824
the bin file is here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=6432
and the upgrade file is here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=3239
unfortunately this doesn't allow me to "press the red button" as all the coloured buttons are greyed out on the on screen remote.
In Australia, Fox Sports broadcasts multiple soccer matches on the same channel and these are accessed by pressing the red button which accesses interactive content.
The soccer is the main reason I bought the Slingbox, but at the moment my viewing is limited to the main game being broadcast.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Guys |

No ideas anyone?
I really need some help here as I am not really computer literate and exceeded my expectations by actually managing to put the bin file I am using in the correct folder!
If you guys can't help me then does that mean that I need to buy a slingbox in Australia?
Sorry to be pushy but I am due to leave for the states for an extended work trip and was hoping I could resolve this before I go. |

Thankyou!
I really appreciate your time and effort Robman.
I repair dents in cars for a living (Paintless Dent Repair), and whilst I know nothing about the subject matter on this forum, and therefore can't help anyone here, I'll be passing the good turn along by repairing someone's dent for free in the morning.
Thanks again |

You're welcome, I take it that it worked then? I also included all of the various MENU type buttons, so everything should be in there, just try all of the buttons if you don't find something right away.
I'll try and spread the word that there's free dent repair at Paintless in the morning! ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ Rob

Works perfectly.
Really thought I'd made a mistake trying to save money for a while there.
This thing will make my life in a crappy hotel room far more bearable! |
