Each button can have 2 functions assigned to it. You preceed the key with a push of the setup.
When you are following the 994 instructions, you tap the setup key before the key you want to assign it to. Then when you want to access the function press setup and then the key. But if you have equipement with lots of functionality shifted keys come in really handy.
NOTE: The exception is if you assign it to a shifted number key, when you want to use the key you have to tap setup twice. you have to press setup, setup before the number to send the function, or otherwise the remote thinks you are trying to send an EFC. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Thanks, Vicky.
Understood and crystal clear.
Many thanks. This is nice to know as it doubles the number of assignable keys.
Amazing remotes these JP1s. |

I'm going to be frank with you, b-frank. Found a match and recorded the IR signals with the JP1 tools to create the respective files.
