Is it possible to add the Thomson protocol to KM, for us european-devices bound users? I know RM does Thomson (and I used it), but it doesn't do Device-Combiner, and having to use both for doing one upgrade is cumbersome...

It's on my to-do list, but I don't know when I'll get to it.

For device combiner, I think using both for one upgrade is easier. I'd use it that way even if KM supported the base protocol, maybe even if RM supported Device-combiner.

Device combiner requires that you get the fixed data and EFC codes from elsewhere. It can't do device to fixed data translation, nor OBC to EFC translation. I like to have both the base upgrade and the device combiner open at once, so I can see or even change OBC numbers.

Good advice, John. Now that I actually did use both, I can say it has some advantages. I had both open and copy/pasting between them. Now if only I had a dual-head monitor setup, everything would be perfect... Smile
