Problem connecting 150134

Post by gplncl »

I can't get jp1 (620) to upload from my new 15-134 remote. I bought a new jp1.2/1.3 serial cable. Jp1 indicated it wasn't connected. So, I downloaded Tommy's problem solver test files. It indicated cable plus connections ok. I do have the right com. (per test)
I've loaded the proper RDF file for the 133,134,135 into the same folder as jp1. When I try to open the file to set up jp1 for the 134, it comes up with an error, doesn't recognize eprom. I can upload other remote rdf files ok.
The remote does blink when operational, and connected to the computer.
With the trouble shooting software, I could get the signature, capacity, etc info. Where do I go from here? What info do you need to help me? The rdf file is 30853085 dated may 29, 2008.

Although not the source of your problem, may as well get the latest RDF HERE. It has some minor changes from your version to fix a device combiner error. You can safely delete the 133 and 135 files if you like. Pick the JP1.x interface in the latest IR. If you still have problems, try fresh batteries. Although there's no button for it, this remote has a home theater mode you can access by putting phantomMS in a macro. I put mine on the ViewTV button.
